Spooky Sips: The Gabaghoul Martini

Welcome to another thrilling installment of our Halloween cocktail series! Today, we're diving into the eerie world of The Gabaghoul Martini—a concoction that's sure to have all eyes on you at your next Halloween gathering.

The Gabaghoul

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 oz Mozzarella infused Vodka

  • 1/2 oz Extra dry vermouth (infused with capicola)

  • 1 1/2 oz Olive brine

  • A couple drops of Olive oil

  • Eyeball garnish (crafted from mozzarella balls, green olives, and capicola)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Your Infusions: Start by infusing your vodka with mozzarella balls in a mason jar. Seal it and let it rest in the fridge for 3-5 days. For the vermouth, add slices of capicola to it in another jar, and leave it to infuse in the fridge for 3 days.

  2. Strain and Chill: Once your infusions are ready, strain them using a mesh strainer and cheesecloth. Chill your martini glass by placing it in the freezer or filling it with ice until you're ready to serve.

  3. Mix the Martini: In a cocktail mixing glass, combine the infused vodka, dry vermouth, and olive brine. Add ice and stir for about 25 seconds.

  4. Serve: Double strain the mix into your chilled coupe glass. Add a couple of drops of olive oil for a finishing touch.

  5. Garnish: Add a spooky eyeball garnish made from mozzarella balls, green olives, and capicola.
