Midnight Margarita Magic

As Halloween unfolds, it's time to stir up some mystical magic with the Midnight Margaritas, inspired by the enchanting movie, Practical Magic. This cocktail is a bewitching brew that brings a touch of whimsy to your Halloween celebrations. This is my sequel to my first Midnight Margarita recipe that I made last year!

Midnight Margaritas (The Sequel):

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz Tequila

  • 1/2 oz Mezcal

  • 1 oz Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice

  • 1/4 oz Rosemary Simple Syrup

  • 3/4 oz Blood Orange Juice

  • 2 oz Apple Cider

  • Pinch of Salt

  • Dehydrated Lime Wheel for Garnish

  • Fun Broom Garnishes

Instructions:

  1. Combine tequila, mezcal, lime juice, rosemary simple syrup, blood orange juice, apple cider, and a pinch of salt in a cocktail shaker.

  2. Add ice and shake vigorously.

  3. Strain the mixture into festive glasses filled with fresh ice.

  4. Garnish with a dehydrated lime wheel and a playful broom garnish, creating a circle of brooms for extra flair.


Rosemary Simple Syrup:

Ingredients:

1/2 cup water

1/2 cup granulated sugar

3-4 rosemary sprigs.

Directions: Combine sugar and water in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir until sugar is fully dissolved. Remove the saucepan from the heat and add in your rosemary sprigs. Let sit for 30 mins and then strain out the sprigs. Store in a sealed container in the fridge for 2 weeks.
