ESPRESSO NOG MARTINI: THE PERFECT CHRISTMAS EVE COCKTAIL

Christmas Eve is a week away! I don't know about you, but I actually love Christmas eve more than Christmas day! I think it's just all the anticipation for Christmas that makes Christmas eve extra special.

So in honor of me being a Christmas eve girlie, let's do an espresso martini perfect for your Christmas Eve festivities. This martini has double caffeine (espresso and chai) so that you can stay awake longer with your anticipation of Santa's arrival. The tini is topped off with Eggnog because that's a Christmas eve tradition with my husband and I! You have to have some eggnog Christmas eve, right?

The Christmas Eve Espresso Nog Martini ☕

Let's get our tini time on... here's what you'll need:

- 1 1/2 oz Vodka

- 1 oz Kahlua

- 1 oz Espresso

- 1/4 oz Simple Syrup

- 1 oz Chai Tea Latte Concentrate

- 1/2 oz Eggnog (I use premade and Pennsylvania Dutch Eggnog is the best!)

- 3 espresso beans or a star anise for garnish

Directions:

In a cocktail shaker, add your vodka, Kahlua, espresso, simple syrup, and chai tea concentrate. Do one dry shake with a hand frother and then a wet shake with a couple ice cubes. Put that aside and in a cocktail mixing glass, pour in your eggnog and give it a good froth with a hand frother. In a chilled coupe glass (I used a Nick & Nora glass which was a little small to hold the whole cocktail but it looked cute). Top off your espresso martini with your eggnog and #garnish with 3 espresso beans or a star anise. This is best enjoyed paired with your Christmas Eve traditions!
